We are recognized by Obra Social La Caixa for our social innovation

04/2019 - Valencia

Innovating is also inspiring others so that new projects are born. This philosophy is what drives the IKANÍ project, which arises from listening to and believing in young people on their journey of seeking new opportunities.

They and their determination to improve their situation with regard to their future employability have been the trigger for the recognition received on April 4 by Obra Social "La Caixa" around the delivery of Premios a la Innovación Social 2018. The project has been one of the 37 finalists among 460 applications that have been presented in this edition.

Fundación Adsis responds to young people between the ages of 16 and 25 through this project launched at our Taleia youth center in Valencia. IKANÍ means being capable and we work on this idea every day, accompanying them in the development of their abilities and talents. They are young people who left school at an early age and with little or no training and / or work experience.

The purpose of the project is the comprehensive prevention and promotion of minors and young people in situations of social vulnerability, accompanying them in a vital and professional process towards full social insertion. The socio-educational intervention model responds to the model accredited by the Second Chance Schools (E2O) of whose association Fundación Adsis is a founding partner.

The applied methodology seeks the change and transformation necessary for young people to improve their employability and thus increase their job opportunities.

All this, highlighting that the young person is the protagonist of her own progress.
